On 12 March 2019, the Singapore Aesthetics team launched Cutera’s truSculpt iD and Cosmosoft’s ReduStim to a group of local and foreign doctors looking to learn more about body aesthetics.
Even though a number of body devices exist in the market today, both the truSculpt iD and ReduStim are revolutionary in their own right. Before going into the why though, one needs to understand the what: fats. Not all fats were created the same. The truSculpt iD works on subcutaneous fat – the jiggly fat that exists just under the skin – while the ReduStim works on visceral fat – fat that surrounds our organs.
Subcutaneous FatEveryone is born with subcutaneous fat. Apart from genetics, people normally have more subcutaneous fat if they eat more calories than they burn, are sedentary, have little muscle mass, get little aerobic activity, have diabetes and/or are insulin resistant. While other devices take anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes per treatment, the truSculpt iD requires just 15 minutes. The secret behind the truSculpt iD’s extraordinary efficiency is its impressive, comprehensive 7-handpiece option. ReduStim
Cosmosoft’s ReduStim is the first of its kind that uses patented technology to reduce both visceral and subcutaneous fat. The device is 100% hands-free, non-invasive, non-agressive and extremely painless. The secret to the ReduStim lies in its use of BioEnergetic field (lipolytic action) to mimic exercise and release adipose cells.
