About Warwick SAS
Founded in 1981 by Derek Booth, Warwick SASCo still lives by its principles to put customers first. Derek was one of the originators of sterilizable polyware for hospitals. The company he worked for previously, designed and manufactured the very first products in the early 1970’s. He was influential in hospitals adopting the new products and material and also formulating British Standard BS5452.

Now managed by Derek’s children Darby and Alex, the family owned business works to key service targets as it sells to hospitals and medical distributors in over 45 countries. Warwick SASCo is based close to Birmingham in the heart of the manufacturing West Midlands. They were one of the first Medical Device companies to be certified to ISO9001.

We were the driving force in developing polypropylene products for use in Healthcare. This led to the formulation of British Standards BS5452, BS2588 and BS3215. From 1996 we achieved ISO9001 status in recognition of our Quality Management. Over 18 years later, we still hold that certification today.

Warwick SASCo has enjoyed over 30 years success in supplying plastic medical devices that continue to meet the demanding requirements of healthcare processing. They are now recognised as the market leader in the design and manufacture of high quality medical polyware and their products have an unrivalled reputation for quality in over 65 countries around the world. The Team at Warwick SASCo is immensely proud of their reputation for delivering high quality products and a professional, friendly service to the customers.

The reusable and single use products have increased from 30 lines in 1981 to over 130 lines in 2011. Products are cost effective and designed with both health professionals and patients in mind.
