Advancing Dental Care: Highlights from IDEM 2026

The International Dental Exhibition and Meeting (IDEM) continues to serve as a key platform for dental professionals to explore cutting-edge innovations, gain valuable insights through scientific conferences, and participate in hands-on workshops alongside a comprehensive exhibition.

From 17–19 April 2026, idsMED Singapore showcased its latest dental solutions at the biennial event held at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore. Held under the theme “Innovating Smart Dentistry for a Sustainable Digital Future,” the 14th edition offered attendees opportunities to engage with emerging technologies, exchange ideas, and discover solutions shaping the future of dentistry across the Asia-Pacific region.

 

At this international platform, idsMED Singapore presented a curated portfolio of innovations, including advanced dental units from Swident and high-performance sterilisation solutions from W&H, which attracted strong interest from clinicians and industry partners.

The Swident Partner Evo Touch is a premium dental unit designed in Switzerland and manufactured in Italy, combining ergonomics, reliability, and aesthetic appeal. Highly customisable, it features an intuitive interface that enables users to monitor and control instrument power and speed, access pre-set programmes, and create personalised settings. A non-touchscreen option is also available.

Complementing this, W&H’s range of high-performance sterilisers includes the Lisa Mini, Lisa, and Lina models. The compact Lisa Mini offers flexible placement and versatile applications within reprocessing rooms. Lisa, a Type B steam steriliser, delivers fast cycles for dental handpieces with full traceability, making it well-suited to high-demand environments. Meanwhile, Lina is a robust and efficient steriliser designed to meet the daily needs of dental clinics.
