idsMED Singapore Extends Support to Baxter Healthcare’s Educational Event

On 17 April 2024, Baxter Healthcare organised an educational event held at Pan Pacific Singapore with the support of idsMED Singapore. The event, attended by doctors and nurses from both public and private healthcare institutions, featured a clinical sharing and a demonstration session highlighting the best practices in correlation to achieving patient early mobility.

Representing Baxter International, Ms. Joanna Yao, Vice President – Asia, kickstarted the event by delivering the opening address. This was followed by a clinical sharing by the Speaker for the Night—Dr. Chow Weng Ho, Vice President for Medical Affairs at Baxter. Dr. Chow shared his expert insights on ‘Using Technology to Enhance ICU Patient Mobility’ and enlightened the attendees with his vast knowledge. Dr. Chow is a seasoned pharmaceutical leader with more than 24 years of leadership experience in the pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and MedTech industries.

Before the event concluded, Mr. Ramakrishna Poruri, Senior Manager for Product & Solution Development at Baxter Asia conducted the Progressa Plus Demonstration, further highlighting the technology that can help make it easier for nurses to care for patients, while supporting patient recovery.
