idsMED Singapore’s Medical Aesthetics team had the pleasure of hosting The Global Beauty Group at the idsMED office on 3-4 September 2024 for a comprehensive device training and business meeting. The session centred on exploring opportunities to drive recurring revenue with the introduction of two revolutionary devices – MediLUX and SlimLUX. The inclusion of these devices aligns with idsMED’s strategic goal of expanding its product portfolio.

Mr. Masiha Zekrgoo – Export Sales Manager and Ms. Elise Rosemary Andrews – Education Manager from The Global Beauty Group led the training by introducing the LUX Series devices. They presented two key products to the Medical Aesthetics Team: MediLUX, a medical-grade light therapy device, and SlimLUX, an ultrasound body contouring platform. The team included Ms. Jess Kong, Medical Aesthetics Manager; Ms. Catherine Yap, Senior Solutions Specialist; Ms. Ivon Ng, Solutions Specialist; and Ms. Jess Low, Clinical Specialist.

The intensive training covered MediLUX’s unique features, including its five-wavelength, high-intensity light-emitting diodes (LEDs), which are designed for skin rejuvenation, wound healing, acne reduction, pigmentation control, and anti-ageing treatments. The SlimLUX platform was also highlighted for its capabilities in fat and cellulite reduction, as well as enhanced active penetration, utilising radiofrequency, ultrasound, sonophoresis, and vacuum suction technologies.

Upon completing the training, the idsMED team gained a deeper knowledge and understanding of these devices, enabling them to provide more information and address potential concerns. The team is excited to share this newly acquired knowledge with clinicians and promote these innovative technologies in the field of medical aesthetics.
