By some estimates, patients sickened by coronavirus might need a stay in an intensive care unit, the part of the hospital devoted to providing immediate life-saving care. That will likely put a shortage of medical devices, like ventilators and monitors, and even put facilities at risk of running out of room.

There are several ways to monitor health. One of the most effective ways is by taking vital signs. Vital signs include pulse rate, temperature, respiration rate, and other key factors crucial in determining the status of health. With the right vital signs equipment, you can stay on top of all aspects of this important area of health, as well as monitor for any changes requiring further evaluation or immediate action.

Patients hospitalized with COVID-19 require regular monitoring of vital signs and, where possible, utilization of medical early warning scores.
