Advancing Maternal Care at Northeast MFM Forum 2026

On 26–27 March 2026, idsMED Thailand sponsored the 4th Northeast MFM Forum in Khon Kaen, bringing together over 200 OB&GYN professionals. The event focused on advancing maternal and fetal medicine through expert discussions and updated clinical practices. It also provided opportunities to engage with ultrasound users, explore market needs, and strengthen regional healthcare collaboration.

On 26–27 March 2026, idsMED Thailand participated as the main sponsor of the 4th Northeast MFM Forum 2026, held at Avani Khon Kaen Hotel in Khon Kaen Province. The event gathered more than 200 participants, including key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals in obstetrics and gynecology from Northeastern Thailand.

The Northeast region represents a significant focus area due to its large population and its substantial share in the allocation of medical equipment and development of healthcare personnel by the Ministry of Public Health.

The forum aimed to serve as a regional academic platform for maternal and fetal medicine (MFM), facilitating knowledge exchange and updates on treatment guidelines for high-risk pregnancy conditions, including preterm birth, fetal hydrops, and other complications. The program featured academic sessions, expert-led case discussions, and multidisciplinary exchanges designed to enhance clinical capabilities and improve standards of care in the region.

Key topics included the management of preterm birth, fetal demise, fetal echocardiography, and neonatal anemia. The event also provided a platform for collaboration among obstetricians, gynecologists, and related healthcare professionals.

For idsMED Thailand, the forum provided an opportunity to engage with existing GE Voluson ultrasound users and explore potential opportunities with new customers. At the exhibition booth, the team presented key product features, conducted interactive activities, and gathered market insights from participants, including procurement plans and budget considerations for ultrasound equipment in OB&GYN departments.

The event also served as an opportunity to introduce Ms. Sitthinee Kanking as the SCA Lead for the Women’s Healthcare team.
