Enhancing OB/GYN Practice Through Advanced Ultrasound Training

idsMED Thailand, in collaboration with the 10th Healthcare Sector, held an OB/GYN training on March 30, 2026, at Centara Ubon Hotel, Ubon Ratchathani. The program covered MFM ultrasound, 3D/4D imaging, AI applications, and advanced e4D technology. Attended by 23 doctors, the event combined expert-led lectures and hands-on sessions to enhance clinical capabilities and promote advanced ultrasound adoption.

idsMED Thailand collaborated with the 10th Healthcare Sector, covering the provinces of Ubon Ratchathani, Amnat Charoen, Yasothon, Sisaket, and Mukdahan, to organize a targeted educational initiative for OB/GYN specialists. Held on March 30, 2026, at Centara Ubon Hotel in Ubon Ratchathani Province, the event focused on advancing clinical knowledge in key areas, including Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) ultrasound, the application of 3D/4D imaging in OB/GYN practice, the integration of AI in ultrasound, 3D/4D scanning techniques for fetal echocardiography across the first to third trimesters, and advanced e4D technology.
The idsMED Thailand team engaged extensively with the 10th Healthcare Sector to establish this co-hosted event. Collaboration with the government sector enabled participating physicians to access reimbursement for accommodation and travel expenses through their respective institutions.

The selection of advanced topics in 3D/4D and AI-supported OB/GYN ultrasound was intended to generate interest in high-end ultrasound systems, such as the GE Voluson Expert 18, 20, and 22 series, which are positioned in the premium segment of the market.

The event featured distinguished speakers, including Assoc. Prof. Dhirapatara Charoenvidhhya, M.D. from Chulalongkorn Hospital; Assoc. Prof. Manaphat Suksai, M.D. from Prince of Songkla University Hospital; and Dr. Pongsun Pantachai from Sunpasitthiprasong Hospital in Ubon Ratchathani.
The event was officially opened by Dr. Piyawadee Wutthikonsammakit, Deputy Director of Sunpasitthiprasong Hospital. A total of 23 OB/GYN doctors from across the 10th Healthcare Sector attended the full-day program, which comprised both lecture sessions and hands-on training.
