Rakesh Menon is currently the Managing Director, Vietnam. He joined idsMED in 2024, bringing over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry across leading medical technology companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Smith & Nephew and Stryker. Throughout his career, Rakesh has held leadership roles across India, the United States, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and the wider ASEAN region, with extensive experience in business development, commercial strategy, medical technology, robotics, orthopaedics and wound care.
Before his current role, Rakesh led the transformation of the Medical Solutions business in Vietnam, transitioning to a sustainable sub-distributor network to support scalable growth.

Sylvia Yong
Director – SCA Solutions
Sylvia Yong is the Director – SCA Solutions of idsMED Vietnam/. She works closely with the Managing Director – Vietnam to support the company’s ongoing transformation and drive sustainable business growth in the region across the Country Chosen SCAs.
Sylvia joined idsMED Vietnam in September 2024 as Senior Product Sales Manager, leading the Orthopaedics Speciality Care Area. Since joining, she has strengthened partnerships with key orthopaedics principals, contributed to transforming the orthopaedics business structure, and supported the development of the indirect distribution channel to improve business reach and operational effectiveness. Before joining idsMED Vietnam, Sylvia spent five years with idsMED Indonesia as Senior MSC Manager.
