From 28 April to 2 May 2026, the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, in collaboration with PERDATIN Jaya, successfully hosted the 23rd Indoanesthesia 2026 at Shangri-La Jakarta. Held under the theme “21st Century Challenge to Improve Professionalism and Quality of Anaesthesia Service in Indonesia,” the event provided an important platform for anaesthesia professionals to expand their knowledge, exchange experiences, and stay informed on the latest technological advancements in anaesthesia and critical care.
A broad range of scientific topics was presented throughout the event, including Basic Perioperative and Critical Care Point-of-Care Ultrasound (PoCUS), Basic Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anaesthesia, and Advanced Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anaesthesia (USGRA). These sessions offered valuable practical insights and clinical updates, particularly for anaesthesiology specialists.
As part of its commitment to advancing healthcare services in Indonesia, idsMED Indonesia participated in the event through the Indoanesthesia Vascular Access (IVA) Workshop and the INASORA Workshop (Indonesian Society of Regional Anaesthesia). During the event, idsMED showcased a range of medical solutions, including Bioptimal CVC, Biotray, Monitoring Kit, Vygon arterial catheters, CVC, PICC, SIUI ultrasound systems, and patient monitors from GE HealthCare, all of which attracted strong interest from attendees.
The workshops were highly engaging, with many anaesthesiology specialists actively participating. In addition to hands-on experience with the devices, participants had the opportunity to learn directly from experienced speakers, including dr. Anas Alatas, Sp.An, KAKV; dr Irvan Setiawan, Sp.An-TI; dr Ronggo Prakoso, Sp.An, FACT, KIC; and dr. Adhrie Sugiarto, Sp.An-KIC.
