idsMED Singapore Elevates Wound Care Treatment at the St Luke’s ElderCare CommCare Symposium 2023

On 29 September 2023, the CommCare Academy of St Luke’s ElderCare (SLEC) hosted the St Luke’s ElderCare CommCare Symposium 2023 at SIM Global Education. The event drew over 900 nurses and physiotherapists from various hospitals and nursing homes. The symposium featured two concurrent program tracks – one dedicated to establishing dementia-friendly faith communities, and the other emphasised a holistic approach to chronic wound management.

idsMED Singapore partnered with SLEC as a silver sponsor and participated in the symposium as an exhibitor in the second program track, titled “Healing & Beyond: A Holistic Approach to Managing Wounds”.

The idsMED booth showcased essential medical products from our prominent principals, including PARO Therapeutic Robot, Silverfit Alois, InnoQ consumables, Ansell gloves, and Anios hand hygiene products. These were displayed alongside offerings from other prominent exhibitors such as 3M, Convatec, Urgo Medical, and Pharmaforte.

This symposium provided a conducive learning environment for medical professionals to delve into the topic of chronic wound treatment. Furthermore, it facilitated discussions and the exchange of ideas, enhancing the participants’ knowledge and ability to provide effective treatment for elderly patients.
