The 15th Ageing Asia Innovation Forum (AAIF) integrates the 12th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards 2024 and the Ageing Asia Innovation Exhibition, showcasing innovative products at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre on 8 and 9 May 2024. Themed "Redefining Care: Activating Communities of The Future", idsMED Singapore was among 100 exhibitors present at this global ageing event, displaying products across Assistive Living, Home & Community Care, Active Ageing, Technology, and Rehabilitation & Wellness.
At idsMED’s booth, a wide range of products were featured, including medical consumables and ward furniture solutions designed to promote active ageing. The Intermediate Long-Term Care (ILTC), Patient Support System (PSS), InnoQ and the Medical Specialty Care (MSC) teams were all present during the two-day event to demonstrate and speak to attendees about the products displayed.
Several noteworthy products stood out and drew interest from the attendees, specifically:
- Globalwide’s Viami Shower Bath System features smart servicing for caregivers without compromising the comfort of care-receivers
- Lucynt’s Projection Capsule features various interactive games that can be displayed on the floor, wall, or table
- Hug, a mobility support robot
- Paramount’s Espacia, a low-height bed with a nurse call terminal

As the exhibition drew to a close, Mr. Shrikanth Sankar, Managing Director & SVP for idsMED Singapore, shared valuable insights during the Health Longevity Panel Discussion “The Future of Health Longevity Trends and Impact on the Silver Economy”, alongside panellists from Singapore, the United States of America, and the Netherlands.
During the 12th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards Ceremony in the evening, idsMED Singapore was recognised as a finalist in four categories namely, Innovation of the Year for Technology Social Engagement, Technology Product, Dementia Technology and Rehabilitation Equipment. Mr. Chris Tan, Manager II - Sales, and Ms. Catherine Wong, Solutions Specialist, received the awards for each category on behalf of idsMED Singapore.
