idsMED Singapore Participates as Platinum Sponsor in 18th ISUOG Approved Course

This year, in conjunction with the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Singapore, the 18th annual ISUOG (International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynaecology) Approved Course focused on Prenatal Clinical Genetics & Genomic Services (CGGS).

idsMED Singapore participated as a Platinum Sponsor at the event, held from 14 to 16 November 2024. The event included a pre-course workshop on 14 November 2024, followed by the main scientific programme at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore.

The joint scientific programme covered a series of topics including updates on current clinical applications and future advances in non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT), pre-implantation genetic testing and carrier screening. These topics were beneficial for a diverse audience of medical professionals, including general OB-GYN doctors, maternal-fetal doctors, and general practitioners.

Internationally renowned experts such as Professor Laurent Salomon, President of ISUOG, Professor Jonathan Hyett, ISUOG Trustee and Professor Lisa Hui, Board Director of the International Society of Prenatal Diagnosis (ISPD), delivered keynote lectures, sharing their expertise on relevant topics.

Each session focused on a clinical theme, beginning with a keynote lecture by the invited experts, followed by talks from local faculty members. The programme also featured presentations of interesting clinical cases, facilitating discussions between local and international experts through live ultrasound demonstrations and hands-on workshops. 

In addition to the enlightening talks, lectures and workshops, the event showcased various products, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience and learn more about the products that captured their interest. Representatives from idsMED Singapore and GE HealthCare were present at the booth to engage with the visitors.

This engaging event not only provided a clearer understanding of participants’ enquiries but also offered exhibitors the opportunity to forge meaningful collaborations whilst showcasing innovative solutions relevant to the field.
