Singapore is facing rapid ageing which poses some challenges for healthcare institutions in providing for long term care and support for the elderly which is accessible and affordable. It is expected that by 2030, 1 in 4 individuals in Singapore would be 65 or older, at par with countries like Japan or Hong Kong. idsMED wishes to be at the forefront in helping shape the healthcare landscape of the country and making it more elderly friendly.

ASEAN Community-based Healthcare Forum is a seminar format with more than 50 attendees from all healthcare areas practitioners, which took place at One Farrer Hotel & Spa, Singapore on 2-3 August 2017.

The forum was intended to be a global gathering of healthcare experts and thought leaders in ASEAN to better understand, adopt, and adapt Community-Based Healthcare into both urban and rural settings in ASEAN.

idsMED Singapore was grateful of the opportunity to participate in this forum both as an exhibitor and an attendee.
