Supporting Cardiovascular Learning at the Padang Symposium 2026

From 5–7 June 2026, the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Andalas University, in collaboration with the West Sumatra Chapter of the Indonesian Heart Association (PERKI), hosted the 11th Padang Symposium on Cardiovascular Disease 2026 at The ZHM Premiere Hotel Padang under the theme "Cardiology 360: Integrating Knowledge, Technology, and Practice." The symposium provided a valuable platform for healthcare professionals to expand their knowledge and exchange insights on the latest developments in cardiovascular medicine.

As part of the programme, idsMED supported the Ultrasound in Cardiovascular Case (POCUS) workshop by showcasing the GE Vivid T9 and two GE Vscan SL units. The workshop covered key topics, including Basic Cardiac Ultrasound and Image Acquisition, LV-RV Function and Common Pathology in POCUS Echo, and From Image to Clinical Decision in POCUS Echo. The session attracted approximately 30 healthcare professionals, who actively participated in the hands-on learning experience.

In addition to supporting the workshop, idsMED participated in the exhibition, where attendees had the opportunity to explore its featured medical solutions firsthand. Products on display included the Fukuda ECG and the Laerdal Little Anne manikin, attracting approximately 300 visitors, including general practitioners and anaesthesiologists. Through its workshop support and exhibition presence, idsMED reinforced its commitment to advancing healthcare professional education and providing innovative medical technologies that support everyday clinical practice.
