The Red River Run 2019 journey was officially started by a 5km run on the morning of April 21 at Hanoi Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital. More than 900 amateur athletes, along with 3 main ones of the program - Marieke Dekkers (Netherlands), Robert West and Grant Bowdery (UK) have completed the run together.

In the next morning, all three athletes of Red River Run immediately stepped into the 300-kilometer run from Hanoi to Lao Cai. Experiencing an uneasy journey with hot and sunny weather of 33 to 34 degrees Celsius, with endless efforts and persistent willpower, Marieke, Robert and Grant reached the finish line at Lao Cai Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital in 23 April morning. Right after finishing, three athletes presented 2 SPO2 equipment valued VND 100 million supported by idsMED Vietnam for the hospital.

Sponsored by idsMED Vietnam, this aims to support local doctors in medical examination. At Red River Run 2019, not only contributing and supporting Newborns Vietnam during the organization process, idsMED Vietnam members also actively participated in the 5km running track, contributing to the program.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha, Managing Director, idsMED Vietnam shared: “Joining Red River Run 2019 is a continuation of our volunteer activities for the community. In addition to business activities, the company always strives to contribute to the society, demonstrating our responsibility and affirming the brand promise of idsMED - "We care with a heart, because your life matters”.
