The team from idsMED Singapore participated in Tan Tock Seng Hospital’s Multidisciplinary Oncology Conference on 5-6 October 2019 and showcased innovative, suitable solutions. Organized by the departments of General Surgery and Medical Oncology, this year’s theme of Optimal Management of Oligo Metastatic Disease – Biology of Cancer Driving Treatment Decisions focused on optimizing the outcome of patients with oligometastatic disease of the lung, liver or peritoneum using multimodality treatment, and sought expert consensus on best practices in this ever-changing area of cancer treatment.

Experts in the fields of surgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology, interventional radiology, etc., from all over the world presented the latest in best practices, as well as discussed complex cases. With the increasing complexity and prevalence of cancer in Singapore, the importance for high quality, patient-centric multidisciplinary care is essential for the treatment of oncology patients.

Great job to the team for contributing to the conference!
