The 2020 Taiwan Academy of Tumor Ablation (TATA) Annual Symposium

The 2020 Taiwan Academy of Tumor Ablation (TATA) Annual Symposium was held at National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH), on 12 Jan 2020. It was a beautiful day at Taipei with active participants of both healthcare professionals & industry manufacturers.

The annual symposium opened by Dr. Jen-I Hwang, the chairman of the Taiwan Academy of Tumor Ablation; followed by the advanced topics for tumor ablation technologies and therapies. The focus of this year was the integration of modern technology with tumor ablation therapy, potentially with the aid from artificial intelligence (AI), to improve complete response rate and minimize the chances of complication.

Furthermore, the advancement of new generation microwave ablation has greatly improved the ablation treatment, TATA has arranged a hand-on training for participants to physically feel the practice. idsMED Taiwan has proudly be part of the training with STARmed machines for clients to experience the difference in practice, with many positive feedbacks, we look forward for many future collaborations to come.
