idsMED Indonesia Hosts idsMED Salim 2023

Read more As Ramadan, the holy month of Islam, reaches the heart of people this month, idsMED Indonesia and Majelis Taklim Darussalam celebrate this occasion by organising a purposeful event for a charitable outreach to orphaned children.

On 11 April 2023, the iftar (breaking of fast) event themed "idsMED SALIM: Silaturahmi, Ngaji, Berbagi" (idsMED SALIM: Fellowship, Quranic Recitation, Sharing) was held at the idsMED Training Room, 17th Floor, Wisma 76 Jakarta. The event began with the solemn recitation of blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (shalawat), followed by the reading of verses from the Quran. Afterwards, the participants listened to an inspiring religious speech (tausiyah) delivered by Ustadz Mufti Syafi’i S.Pd.I., Lc., Al-Hafidz, which provided valuable lessons for the attending employees.

As Iftar approached, the idsMED SALIM event distributed gifts and cash donations to a total of 184 orphaned children who came from around the idsMED Indonesia branches. This generosity is tangible evidence that idsMED is not solely focused on business, but also cares for the surrounding community.

The event concluded with the congregational Maghrib and Tarawih prayers.

It is hoped that this event will strengthen the bonds of fellowship among idsMED employees as well as bring benefits to the surrounding community.
