On 17 September 2023, a heartwarming scene unfolded as 27 participants from idsMED Singapore gathered at East Coast Park to support Singtel - Singapore Cancer Society’s Race Against Cancer 2023. This event was not just a simple race; it was a collective effort to raise funds for various aspects of cancer care and support, such as providing cancer treatment subsidies, extending welfare assistance, facilitating rehabilitation, providing hospice care, offering screenings, supporting research endeavours, promoting public education, and supporting group initiatives that are essential in the battle against cancer.

At the heart of this endeavour lies the core belief of the Singapore Cancer Society: No one should fight cancer alone. This conviction has given rise to the annual ‘Race Against Cancer’ initiative, inviting people from all walks of life to unite in solidarity with those affected by cancer. By participating in such events, idsMED Singapore not only contributes to fundraising efforts but also helps to raise awareness about the multifaceted challenges posed by cancer. These events foster a sense of togetherness in the collective fight against the formidable disease.

It is indeed a remarkable event that makes a positive impact on the lives of those battling cancer, and idsMED Singapore is proud to be part of it.

idsMED Singapore extends its appreciation to the 27 participants who woke up early on a Sunday morning to join in this great cause. Your dedication and effort in taking part in this event will undoubtedly make an impact on cancer patients and their families. A special thanks also goes to the idsMED Singapore HR team who coordinated the event, ensuring its success.
