Despite Batik being worn regularly on a daily basis, the 2nd October of every year is still recognized as Indonesia’s official Batik Day. On this day, 10 years ago, Batik as one of Indonesian’s cultural heritage was listed into the UNESCO (United Nations of Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) intangible cultural heritage list.
To celebrate this, people across Indonesia will wear their best Batik as they go about their day to day activities. This is no exception in idsMED Indonesia.
We managed to get a glimpse of the various Batik worn by the idsMED employees throughout Indonesia. It clearly shows the beauty and diversity of the Batik design and the richness of the Indonesian cultural heritage. WOWsome stuff!
