Strengthening Integrity: idsMED’s ISO 37001:2016 Awareness Training

With an unwavering commitment to uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethics, idsMED Indonesia recently conducted a two-day ISO 37001:2016 Awareness Training on 6-7 September 2023. Held at the Training Room of idsMED Indonesia’s Wisma 76 office, it was a significant step toward enhancing employees’ awareness and understanding of the principles of the Anti-Bribery Management System.

The training was led by a PT Tüv Nord Indonesia speaker, Mrs. Anita Syaharudin, who guided 25 participants through a comprehensive exploration of ISO 37001:2016. These participants are from the idsMED Greater Jakarta Office with one online participant from the Surabaya Branch Office.

The ISO 37001:2016 Awareness Training aimed to equip participants with the fundamental principles of the Anti-Bribery Management System. The training was divided into two key parts. The first segment focused on the basics of ISO 37001:2016 where participants delved into essential concepts and gained insights into the significance of this international standard in preventing bribery and corruption. The second part of the training deepened participants’ understanding by examining ISO 37001 Clauses within the high-level structure relevant to the critical aspects of the Anti-Bribery Management Systems, ranging from organisational context to leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation, and improvement.

This intensive two-day session was a crucial preparatory step for the upcoming internal audit simulation, scheduled for the following week. During this simulation, idsMED Indonesia employees will apply their understanding of ISO 37001:2016 and the Anti-Bribery Management System to further solidify the company’s commitment to ethical business practices.
