idsMED Singapore’s First CSR Contribution to Sengkang General Hospital

On 25 July 2023, idsMED Singapore’s first contribution of various diamond and fuse bead arts, along with other donated items from employees were delivered to Sengkang General Hospital (SKH) for their Kindness Initiative program to help stateless patients in need. As the SKH CSR initiative remains an ongoing effort, a series of forthcoming craft workshops are scheduled for idsMED Singapore so that more members can participate in giving back to the community.

Undoubtedly, the daily work routines can make it difficult for staff to find opportunities to extend a helping hand and support to communities in need. CSR initiatives serve as a valuable tool in providing a platform for employees to give back in enthusiasm, without getting in the way of their work. By organising CSR activities, the HR team has raised a wonderful initiative in helping to keep idsMED Singapore’s promise to the community.

In the recent CSR activity in partnership with Sengkang General Hospital (SKH), the various diamond and fuse bead arts, along with other donated items from employees, were delivered as idsMED Singapore’s first contribution to the hospital on 25 July 2023. This initiative was spearheaded by the HR team – led by HR Manager, Regine Chua.

Subsequently, the contributed items were made available for purchase at a push-cart stall within the hospital premises. The proceeds generated from the sales would go toward SKH’s Kindness Initiative, a program aimed at assisting stateless patients facing financial challenges in covering their medical expenses.

A big thank you to everyone at idsMED Singapore who took part in the craft activity on 13 July 2023. It was heartwarming to see everyone’s enthusiasm and eagerness to produce a good piece of work so that it can be deemed valuable for the initiative. Just as the employees found joy in crafting the items, the team hopes that the love and care put into the crafts can be well conveyed to SKH and the beneficiaries of this initiative, so that they may know – idsMED Singapore cares with a HEART!

Fortunately, for those colleagues who were unable to participate in this round of activity, the SKH CSR initiative remains an ongoing effort, with a series of forthcoming craft workshops scheduled for idsMED Singapore’s involvement. As these opportunities to engage in CSR initiatives continue, we look forward to seeing more of our idsMED Singapore family come forward to give back to the community.
