IDS has given me the opportunity to develop my skill set through providing me with courses, product training, management training etc. I was also given a role as a senior manager in the company which has allowed me to lead younger and newer batches of staff. This has enabled me to grow better as a leader. IDS has allowed me to continue doing what I loved, which is to do engineering and fieldwork. Despite facing many challenges and difficulties, I am glad that I have strong support from the IDS team. Hence, throughout my 35 years in IDS, I am glad that IDS has shaped my career, and help me to grow with the company.
Introducing you to Ms.Apirada Prucksakorn, idsMED Thailand’s Senior Manager – Finance.
Apirada is not just a Finance Manager, she is also a developer, who initiated sales funnel and dashboard report for idsMED Thailand. Thailand Economy has turned down during Covid-19 pandemics, but we are leveraging and have attained the success of minimizing loan, including free fund facilities. She put herself as the cautious guardian, who has done well at fostering and housekeeping idsMED Thailand financial health.
Mr.Paithoon Pureethip, Managing Director and SVP idsMED Thailand stated that Apirada’s skill has transformed the finance function to become true partner to the business. Up to this point, she has always delivered on governance, compliance, controls and focus on delivering business guidance. She has also architected her experiences and knowledge and adopt to our dynamic environment, especially during our M&A with Omnicare and Hossystem.
This has not been easy for most businesses. Much of this struggle arises from the need for finance managers to develop new skills themselves and within their teams.
This makes sense considering the conservative finance skillset, which supports a back-office looking view and focuses on verification and control of digital transformation.
While resources to learn more about new eagle project are ready, a better path would be to bring in a team effort to strive together. Apirada has developed an understanding of the implications of all business departments, and “try at own best” is her concept to create more value.
Having started as Management Trainee under the Li & Fung PMD system (Programme for Management Development), Stephen further progressed his career with LF Logistics in Thailand only to later bring his significant experiences to idsMED Thailand where he took on the vital role of Operations Manager where he took on Sales Operations Management (SOM), Logistics, Inventory Management and Regulatory Affairs. Quite a challenge! As the Thailand companies inaugural awardee, we could not have found a more deserving and long serving candidate.
Stephen, how do you feel having received AAA award?
I feel like I go doing a lot with the company so as you know idsMED has grown rapidly in this recent years I feel like I also do a lot for the company as well.
The thing is I can really see the difference when look past back 3 years ago in Thailand, and you can implement and make a difference in the company, this is very exciting.I think it is the challenge with the motive.So everyday when I come to work, actually yes there are a lot of issues and challenges.
But I am the people that like to overcome the challenge and not giving up.
And also another back side is also my people, my teammate and all the colleagues so everyone support me so this always motivate me to do the operation department better
I feel very honor to be getting AAA rewards for ten years, on the other hands, of course I feel older as well.
But anyhow I would like to thank for all the colleagues that I have worked during in my Lifung group time as well as idsMED, from Hong Kong, Philippines, Thailand all the team, so especially for Thailand team here, all of you, which really support me and I feel very happy and honored to be working with all of you and I will continue to work hard and contribute more for next work.
