The 44th Biennial World Congress of the International College of Surgeons (ICS) served as a global platform for surgical professionals to convene and exchange perspectives on the future of surgery worldwide. Guided by the theme “Cross-Disciplinary – Innovation in Surgery, Sharing Technologies for Transformative Surgical Care,” the Congress emphasised collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing to support improved patient outcomes.
In conjunction with the Congress, idsMED Singapore’s Medical Aesthetics team showcased the latest Classys technologies during the MyFace Cadaveric Workshop and Conference, held from 4–6 December 2025 at the Integrated Care Hub (ICH) and the Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI). The specialised programme combined scientific discussion with practical application, offering participants an immersive educational experience.
At the idsMED booth, attendees were able to explore Volnewmer and Ultraformer MPT technologies, gaining insights into their clinical applications and treatment capabilities. With the support of idsMED, Dr. Elias Tam, President of the International College of Surgeons (Singapore) and Medical Director of EHA Clinic, presented on the combined use of High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) and Radiofrequency (RF) technologies within a single treatment session, outlining developments in aesthetic treatment approaches.
Organised by the International College of Surgeons (ICS), Singapore Section, the MyFace Cadaveric Workshop featured a programme that integrated expert-led lectures with hands-on cadaveric training. This structure allowed participants to strengthen their anatomical understanding while applying theoretical knowledge in a controlled learning environment.
idsMED’s participation in the event reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting medical aesthetics and surgical care through professional education, the introduction of innovative technologies, and collaboration with industry partners and clinical professionals.
